Tamas Kiš, baritone. Born in 1999 in Kikinda.
In 2018, he graduated from the Music High School “Josif Marinković” in Zrenjanin, the theoretical department, and in the same year he enrolled in bachelor studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, majoring in Musicology, where he completed his degree this year, in 2022. Immediately after completing his bachelor degree, he enrolled in further Master studies at the same University, majoring in Music and Media. Likewise, this year he finished the vocal-instrumental section, majoring in classical solo singing at the Isidor Bajić Music High School in Novi Sad, in the class of professor Marta Balaž and enrolled in further bachelor studies for solo singing at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of professor Nikola Mijailović.
During his singing education, he was the winner of awards such as the Grand prize at the Slovenian Music Festival in 2020, in Belgrade, male lauréat at the International solo singer competition Vera Kovač Vitkai in 2020 in Novi Sad, and a special award for a promising male voice at the competition of solo singers Nikola Cvejić in 2021 in Ruma.
In addition, he was awarded the Miroslav Čangalović award of the Serbian National Theater in 2021 in Novi Sad, and was also a scholarship holder of the Foundation for the Advancement of Youth Vocal Art Melanije Bugarinović and Mirjana Kalinović Kalin from 2020 to 2022 in Novi Sad. In addition, after participating in the Summer Opera School in Ečka in 2021 organized by the Music Opera Theater Organization from Belgrade, he gets the opportunity to join their project “Opera: Past, Present, Perfect!” in which he had the opportunity to interpret operatic roles such as: The Voice of the People and Redžep from Stanislav Binički’s At the Dawn (Na uranku); Dad from the opera Children’s Room (Dečja soba) by Milenko Živković; Black Bob and Tom from the opera The Little Sweep/Let’s Make an Opera by Benjamin Britten. Also, within the same project, he had the opportunity to attend the master classes of conductors Srboljub Dinić and Igor Vlajnić, as well as producer Jagoš Marković.
