Martina Koljenšić

Martina Koljenšić was born in 1998 in Belgrade. She attended music high school „Mokranjac“, in the class of the professor Valentina Taškova, and she completed her basic and master academic studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of the professor Višnja Pavlović Drakulić, majoring in solo singing.

So far, she made her debut in the role of Zerlina from Mozart’s opera “Don Giovanni”; in the role of Dorabella from Mozart’s opera “Cosi fan tutte” (BELEF festival); in the role of Mother Andja in the first Serbian opera “At Dawn” by Stanislav Binički, (project “Opera: Past, Present, Perfect!”); and in the role of Zia Principessa from Puccini’s opera “Suor Angelica” ( “Sterijino pozorje” in Novi Sad). In 2022 she was member of the opera academy of the renowned conductor George Pehlivanian in Slovenia, where she had the opportunity to perform the roles of Carmen and Mercedes with the orchestra at concert performances of the opera “Carmen” by Georges Bizet, in eleven cities throughout Slovenia.

Since 2021 she has been participating in the international project “Opera: Past, Present, Perfect!” (“MOTO” organization). She was also part of the “Bravo Bravissimo” project, whose holder is the Italian music society “San Marco”, and which gave her the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the orchestra in Athens (Greece) and Pordenone (Italy).

In 2022, she performed as a soloist in Mozart’s Requiem in the concert hall of the Kolarac Endowment, with the ensemble “Metamorphosis” and the academic choir “Obilić”, under the baton of Ana Ćosović.
