Ana Nikolić, flutist, was born in 1998 in Belgrade. She has completed her master academic studies of flute in class of Professor Ljubiša Jovanović and master academic studies of chamber music in class of Professor Dejan Subotić at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. During her education, she participated in numerous competitions and won prizes in domestic and international competitions.
In flute category – Laureate of National competition and First prizes at National competition, First prizes at International competition „Davorin Jenko“, First prizes at International competition „Tahir Kulenović“; in chamber music category – Laureate of International Piano and Chamber music competition „ULJUS“, First prizes at National competition, First prize at International competition „Davorin Jenko”. She held concerts at SASA Gallery, Istituto Italiano di Cultura Belgrado, Studentski kulturni centar, Ustanova kulture „Parobrod“, Valjevska gimnazija, Cultural center Banski dvor in Banja Luka, Maribor Synagogue.
She has also performed at 51st and 53rd BEMUS and at concerts held in Croatia, Hungary, Spain and China, as a soloist and a member of ensambles, on flute, traverso and piccolo flute. She has worked with eminent flutists and professors such as Pierre-Yves Artaud, Jasmine Choi, Trevor Wye, Peter-Lukas Graf, Dejan Gavrić, Dieter Flury and Philippe Allain-Dupré for traverso flute. As a member of Symphony Orchestra of Faculty of Music, Youth Philharmonic Orchestra „Borislav Pašćan” and Belgrade Wind Orchestra, she held numerous concerts.
During her education she had a scholarships from Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and Ministry of Youth and Sports (Dositeja). As a member of Music opera theater organization MOTO, she performed in a concert of instrumental music from most popular operas, at The Little Theatre „Duško Radović”. She is also a member of orchestra for opera for children „Children’s Room”. She is currently a student of Doctoral Studies – Polymedia art at University of Arts in Belgrade and a student of Modern Greek studies at Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.
