Ana Gvozdenovic, soprano, was born in 1998 in Belgrade. She started her primary music education „Kosta Manojlovic” Music School in Zemun. She graduated in the year 2020 from Music school „Dr Vojislav Vuckovic” at Solo Singing Department, in the class of professor Maja Djokic (2020). She is currently a student of the third year of Solo Singing Department at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, in the class of professor dr.um. Violeta Pancetovic Radakovic. At the same time she also graduated from Ninth Grammar School „Mihailo Petrovic Alas” and she is currently a regular student of the fifth year at the Belgrade University, The Faculty of Dental Medicine.
During her education, she participated in numerous competitions in Belgrade and all over Serbia. She won first prizes at competitions such as: „Serbian Solo Song”, Mladenovac in 2017 and 2018 (Laureate of the competition); International competition „Mita Topalovic” Pančevo, 2018; International Music Festival „Primavera” in Bijeljina in 2018; The National competition of music and ballet schools of Serbia, 2017 and 2019, in Belgrade; International competition „Nikola Cvejic”, Ruma in 2019, 2021 and 2022 (first and second prize and prize of the emeritus professor Radmila Bakocevic for most promising soprano); International competition „Lazar Jovanovic”, Belgrade 2021 (first prize and special prize „Cultural element”).
She has performed on important stages in Belgrade, among which stand out concert hall at the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment, the ceremonial hall of the Assembly of the city of Belgrade, the gallery of The National Theater in Belgrade, the ceremonial hall of the „Home of the Army of Serbia” in Belgrade, where she collaborated with the Art Ensemble “Stanislav Binicki”, „Guarnerius Art Centre”, Russian House in Belgrade, stage of the Little Theater „Dusko Radovic”. In October 2020 she held a solo concert in the SANU Gallery (Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts). In the atrium of The National Museum in Belgrade, she performed at the concert „A dream of an opera night”, at the final concert of the master class by Maestro Srboljub Dinic and at the „Reflections– the creativity of young Serbian composers” within the MOTO organization project. In october 2022 she participated at the concert in SANU Gallery on the occasion of commemorating the 100th anniversity of birth of the Slovenian-Serbian composer Mihovil Logar, at which the solo songs from the cycle „Songs for Anita“ were premiere performed.
She participated in the project „Music Opera Theater Organization – MOTO” – „Summer Opera School”, in which she had the opportunity to collaborate with eminent artists and professors in the field of opera art. Since 2021, she has been a participant in the project „Opera: Past, Present, Perfect!”, in which she made her debut in 2021 in the role of Stanka in the performance of the first Serbian opera „At Dawn” written by Stanislav Binicki, in 2022 in the role of Rowan in the opera „Let’s make an opera / The Little Sweep” written by Benjamin Britten and in the role of „Nobody’s rose“ in contemporary opera „Mercy Street“ written by Damjan Jovicin.
She has improved herself at the master classes of conductors Srboljub Dinic and Igor Vlajnic, director Jagos Markovic, as well as David Bizic, Ljudmila Gross Popovic, Aneta Ilic, Boris Martinovic and Aleksej Mochalov Vladilenovich.
